What is Indian cuisine?

Indian cuisine is native to the country of India. Generally, it consists of a lot of spices and rice, although it's different depending on which region you go to. If you want to know more, then go to the About Indian Cuisine Wikipedia page. For now, I'll be focusing on the Eastern region, in particular the Bengal Region.

Which foods can you learn to make?


Ras Malai (pronounced Ras-Mall-i) is a dessert famous in the Eastern side of India, and throughout India.

Gulab Jamuns (pronounced like Gulag, but you replace the g at the end with a 'b'; Ja-moon) are a type of desserts famous in the state of West Bengal and India. The way of making Gulab Jamuns is similar to Rasogollas, however there are some steps which differ.

Payesh (pronounced Pa-esh) is a type of dessert famous throughout the Indian Subcontinent. This dish is usually made during special occasios to celebrate a certain cause, or simply because someone wants to do so. In general this is a slightly difficult dish to make, but it can be accomplished.
